All about me. Well, no! There's no way you can learn 'all' about me from a few words on a website. Typically, I don't talk about myself, but ask me about my love of pictures and we can talk for hours!

For as long as I can remember recording moments in time through pictures has been important to me. Pictures create tangible memories. Well, truly they are memory triggers, and those memories are what trigger our senses.

Art has always been a huge part of my life. From singing to drawing to dancing to photography, I truly FEEL art. It's who I am. Art is all around us and not only do I see life as art, I feel it as if it is a part of who I am.

There was a time that my goal was to be a labor and delivery nurse, because in my heart, there is nothing sweeter than the birth of an innocent being and the instantaneous love for that precious baby by their parents. This is a feeling I know well, as I have 7 children, 3 of whom I never had joy of meeting. It soon became clear that recording those moments, and the moments that follow through the years, was what I was meant to do.

While at a photo shoot with me you will likely see the coordinated clothing that you painstakingly selected. Maybe you'll notice colors, decor or the smiles. What I'm seeing is the angle of the light, the expression beyond the smile. What are the eyes saying? I'm looking for that make your heart smile moment that you will get whenever you look at your pictures. Is your hair in place? Your clothing? What about your feelings? Posed photography is good, but what makes it great is when it shows emotion.

That's my goal as your photographer. I don't want to create moments in time. I want to remind you of your feelings at the time the photographs were taken. If your heart makes you smile when you see your photos, my creative need will have been met.
